Introduction to Jitsi Meet

Jitsi, privately hosted on Above servers, offers secure, encrypted video conferencing without relying on Big Tech platforms. Enjoy private meetings, screen sharing, and chat, all hosted on our own infrastructure to ensure your communications remain fully under your control.

Setting up Jitsi Meet

Connecting the Jitsi Meet app to the private Above server is quick and easy. Since meetings are hosted on our secure infrastructure, you’ll need to enter the correct server URL in the settings. Once set, you can open a meeting room, log in with your credentials, and invite others to join.

Participants can join a Jitsi meeting without an Above Suite account, but hosting requires one. To join via the app, they must enter the correct URL in settings, or they can join through a browser at jitsi.above.im/your-meeting-room-name.

  7. Use the 🎙 Microphone and 📹 Camera icons to toggle audio and video on or off. You can mute yourself or join without video if preferred.

How to Invite Participants to Your Meeting Room

Once your meeting room is open, you can invite participants. They don’t need the Jitsi Meet app, as the service also works in a browser. Simply send them the meeting URL so they can join directly.
