Geo Share is an open source app that allows to convert links that are related to specific platforms into general coordinates. This can be very useful if you want to find or navigate to a specific location with a privacy focused maps service, but you only got a Google Maps or Apple Maps link of that place.



With Geo Share you can get the actual coordinates of those links and then seamlessly find the same location with CoMaps, OsmAnd~ or whatever else you want to use.

Usage is very straight forward:

  1. Copy any link of the maps / navigation platform you want to convert

  2. Paste that link into Geo Share

  3. Use the coordinates to open the same location on your maps / navigation app of choice
