Apple does not necessarily make it easy to get data migrated out of its ecosystem. Yet, depending on where your data resides and how old / new your device is, there may be different options to get it done.

For iCloud calendars we cover different approaches here: https://learn.above.im/s/12aef602-75ec-4367-b619-07ad051e2a6f/doc/icloud-calendars-HiLfjlMK5F

macOS calendars

The easiest way to get your calendars exported is if you have them on a macOS system. Once set up there, you can pretty easily export all events you want into a single file.

Here’s the process:

  1. Open the Calendar app on your machine

  2. Inside the Calendar, check the list on the left hand side bar to see how many separate calendars you might have.

  3. Select one that you’d like to export, so that it shows highlighted.

  4. In the toolbar on the very top of the screen, go to Edit > Export

  5. You’ll be asked where to save the .ics file and how to call it. Be sure you take note of this.

  6. Done!

Now your .ics file can be transferred and imported to the Above Phone (or other calendars for that matter)
